Lincoln Properties Company (LPC) – Following a competitive bid process, Lincoln Property Company (LPC) was selected as a Project Developer partner by SJTP. Ueland Junker McCauley & Nicholson (UJMN) is an award-winning design firm based in Philadelphia with special expertise in architecture, museum planning, and exhibit design. UJMN developed the conceptual design of the Samuel H. Jones Innovation Center during a limited design competition in 2005 and was subsequently selected as the lead architect. In addition to the building’s core and shell, UJMN designed all of the interior tenant spaces. The 45,000-SF facility is the first building in the planned development and will set the tone for the remainder of the Tech Park, reflecting its mission “to expand and strengthen a research and learning environment, establish a technology-based entrepreneurial economy, and create value for the surrounding community.” The Samuel H. Jones Innovation Center integrates the principles of sustainable design and is seeking LEED Silver certification. The building’s high-performance building envelope employs a white roof that is heavily insultated; high-performance glazing; abundant daylighting; and photovoltaic panels for on-site electrical energy production.  ujmn

Pennoni Associates Inc. has been involved with the South Jersey Technology Park since March 2005 when the decision was made to design and construct the first building. Pennoni provided site design, permitting and construction oversight services for the first building. Pennoni also designed some of the infrastructure, such as the sanitary sewer and stormwater management facility, to accommodate future buildings within the park to minimize the need to upgrade facilities at a later date.  Pennonilogo
