About the tech park
The South Jersey Technology Park at Rowan University (SJTP) was incorporated in 2002 as the hub and catalyst for what has become Rowan Innovations: Rowan’s platform and ecosystem that promotes collaboration between Rowan University and its current and future partners.
With significant support from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), the SJTP was established to drive the economic revitalization of Southern New Jersey. Through Rowan Innovations, the SJTP unleashes the region’s potential by forging private industry partnerships with an integrated program of science, technology and advanced manufacturing.
The Samuel H. Jones Innovation Center, a 45,000-square-foot LEED Certified building anchors the Tech Park. The two-story facility has approximately 22,500 square feet devoted to laboratory and office space for academic research and 22,500 square feet available for private tenants, including Rowan’s Technology Business Incubator for startup companies.
